About Me
Tracey Nguyen, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist · California · LMFT #146704

I'm a California-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with young adults and adult individuals navigating the influences of intergenerational and interpersonal patterns and trauma on their sense of self and relationships with others.
As a first-generation Asian American, I know how much we carry — the weight of familial expectations, cultural values, the pressure to hold everything together while silently breaking apart. If you've ever felt you're too much and not enough at the same time — you're not alone.
Many of us grew up internalizing messages about who we needed to be. Some learned early to keep the peace rather than express a need. Others became the responsible one, the strong one — even when they don't want to. We feel weighed down by shame, self-criticism, and judgement from others. We're stuck in recurring patterns with defense mechanisms that aren't serving us anymore.
Our Therapy Space
A space where you don't have to
perform or have it all figured out.
I am here to help you understand what has shaped you, recognize the strengths already present in you, and move with more intention toward the life you want. I value authenticity, humor, and genuineness. Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time.
Together, we'll make meaning of your experiences, identify intergenerational patterns and trauma that influenced your sense of self and relationships with others, cultivate your self-identity, and build the skills to navigate what's hard — effective communication, boundaries that align with your values, relationship dynamics. I want you to feel empowered to make intentional choices.
